Judging Criteria
Volunteer arts and education experts review submissions without knowledge of the entrants’ identity. Judges look for personal interpretations on the program theme that best exemplify creativity and technical skill.
Awards & Prizes
Every participant is recognized for their work. A virtual or in-person celebration will be held for students in 2022!

Reflections Club
Mrs. Brueckman will be starting the ROMS PTSA Reflections Art Contest Club TBD for any student interested in entering the contest. She will go over the contest theme, rules, brainstorming, and provide time for students to work on their entries. Mrs. Brueckman will be holding this club mainly TBD. A calendar will be available at the first club meeting and online on TBD. The club meetings will be in her classroom (Room B-206). This club is an optional part of Reflections - you do not have to attend the club meetings to enter the art contest!

- How does your work relate to the theme?
- What is your personal connection to the theme?
- What did you use to create your work (e.g. supplies, technology, instrumentation, props, etc.)?
- What/Who was your inspiration?

- Interpretation: How closely the piece relates to the theme, based on the artwork itself and the artist statement.
- Creativity: How creative and original the piece is in its conception of the theme and its presentation.
- Technique: The level of skill demonstrated in the basic principles/techniques of the arts area.
