Past Student Council Events

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

"Pennies for Patients"
Kick off Jan. 5, 2017 and runs through Jan. 27, 2017

WHAT IS IT?  "Pennies for Patients," is a yearly fundraiser that asks LEAP classes to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  If a LEAP class reaches a certain goal, they earn donuts and pizza parties.  Before the fundraiser begins, students learn about Leukemia and Lymphoma during an assembly.

Our 5th annual fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is challenging the ROMS community to raise $7,000 for this amazing organization! That breaks down to $5.85 per student.

Click this link for info about fundraising for LLS:  Student Series Fundraising Flyer 2017

For the LEAP classes that raise at least $150, the class will earn Krispie Kreme Doughnuts! For the LEAP class that raises the most money per grade level, they will earn a pizza party! For the LEAP class that earns the 2nd highest amount of money (and not one of the top LEAP class per grade level), they will also earn a pizza party! The fundraiser runs until January 27, 2016.

ROMS Student Council is thankful for this opportunity to help an amazing organization. Over the last three years we have been able to donate over $18,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with the ROMS community's help!
