Driver Reminders:
  • NO PARKING OR STANDING in drop-off/pick-up zones. Parking is only allowed in the visitor parking lot spaces.
  • NO U-TURNS!  Don’t disrupt the flow of traffic by using our neighbors' driveways to turn around.
  • Follow the ONE WAY direction in parking lots.
  • PULL FORWARD as far as possible, drop off, then leave immediately.
  • Students should EXIT VEHICLES toward the sidewalk, not street side.
  • DRIVE SLOWLY through parking lots.
  • BREAKFAST CLUB is open M-F at 7:15 AM for early drop-offs on Austin St.

Drop-Off and (Early) Pick-Up Guidelines

As the safety of ROMS students is our top priority, we request that you consider the information below concerning the arrival and departure of students to and from the building.

Morning Drop-Off:  Do not park or stand at any time in the drop-off lanes on Washington or Austin streets, or the staff (back) parking lot -- these lanes are for the sole purpose of expeditious and safe student drop off. The Austin Street doors are the designated entrance for students entering the Breakfast Club between 7:15 -7:50 a.m. For the safety of all, please make sure your children exit cars toward the sidewalk, not the street side of your cars.

Traffic on Austin Street flows west to east (toward Washington). Do not disrupt the flow of traffic by using our neighbors' driveways to turn around.

Afternoon Pick-Up:  Do not park at any time in areas designated "No Parking" zones. Work with your students to select safe, alternate spots for pick up by referencing this MAP.

Early Pick-Up:  For those times when your child needs to be picked up before school gets out, parents must contact the grade level office BEFORE arriving.  Either send your child to their grade level office with a note OR call/email their grade level office secretary.
